# Quick actions

Quick actions help you create rules or alerts from other pages. 

You can use quick actions on a few pages: **Mentions**, **Analytics**, **Comparison**, **Authors and sources** and **Insights GPT**.

To do this, click ![](_images/quick-actions.png) in the upper right corner of the page.

Here are four options are available:

* **Add tag** — redirects you to the **Rules** → **Tags** [section](rules#create-a-rule).

* **Create a report** — redirects you to the **Rules** → **Reports** [section](rules#create-a-rule).

* **Add periodic alert** — redirects you to the **Alerts** → **By threshold** [section](alerts#create-an-alert).

* **Add alert by threshold** — redirects you to the **Alerts** → **Periodic** [section](alerts#create-an-alert).
